I have used the site many times including booking my rooms for my 5 January - 18 January visit from Northern California. I compared prices for hotels in bkk, Chiang Mai, Pattaya and other locations with many other sites. Plus the site is also easy to use. I have contacted them by phone when I needed make a same day reservation.
I have no affiliation with the site.

I've used precision reservations (planet holiday), asiarooms, latestays, asiatravel, asia-hotels... They are all fine and on a given day and for a given hotels sometimes one is better than the other. I just check and see...
I'll check out the others that have been mentioned...

used this site before and no problems,
however this time booked at cofort airport all confirmed, and then they email me that the hotel is fully booked and can put me in ebina house down the road,
let you know if works out as I am leaving tonight without conformation.
if all fails will call a few hotels from the airport.

AsiaRooms 944
Globe Bookings 1241
Quite a difference,huh? Wanna know why? AsiaRooms' rate is for a standard room, while Globe quotes for a superior room.
Asiarooms' rate for a superior is 1141 baht.
So that changes a lot, is it?
If you really want to make a useful site don't compare apples with pears....
Apples and Pears are both fine, if all you want is a piece of fruit.
http://hotelreslist.com compares the price of the cheapest advertised room (single and double occupancy) for a given hotel. In your example, the rate for the superior room is the cheapest that Globe advertises. Globe doesn't list the standard room. Which means that Asia offers a lower price if you don't care about which room type you get, but do care about which hotel you stay in.
As for myself, while staying at the Manhattan I found the standard room to be fine; no need for "superior," assuming they had one. So when I go looking for the rate for rooms at that hotel (or any other), I look for the cheapest price for any room there.

Yeah, you're probably right. Next time I won't distinguish between a mini IPOD and a 60Gig IPOD when I am searching on Froogle or any other price comparison site.
There both IPODS.
