I see Town Lodge is now available thru thaihoteldiscounts.com, and the rates are a bit cheaper. Can we get the same rate with a call in or do we have to book thru the web site to get the lower rate?

But wit BTF they are charging 1200 of which 100 goes to the forum, the other online agency is charging 1100, so it is ceratinly not the same.

Again simple economics. How many nights does BTF actually book, compared to a Website that may have many more thousands of hits of buying customers than BTF does.
Besides the BTF is our home ground. It goes hand in hand that hotel bookers pay just a little more through the BTF relative to the fact that you use this forum for much more than booking hotel rooms.
For instance, where is the forum that allows you to discuss this issue on the Travel Websites?
None available right? Thats because BTF is not really a traditional travel Website and the travel website is not the BTF.
Apples and oranges economics. Hence one of the reasons for the difference in price. Almost everything you buy in the world today will have a different price depending on the sellers costs or the sellers opportunity to make an extra buck.
Just like you do in your business.
Now. Tell us why YOU do that.

Happy to report another most enjoyable 8 night stay at TL.
Extremely sad to be reporting it from Oz, but will be back again in about 3 weeks.
Hey guys, if 100 Bt is such a major issue, maybe you're staying in the wrong part of town (or town)
By jove, that RTB chappie is most friendly. Took high Tea with him several times and he even served cucumber "sandies"
Actually, for a British, Swiss, American Aussie, he is an absolute gentleman.
Can't understand how a previous poster found him to be somewhat "unfriendly" and less than helpful with Hotel accommodation, as my experience is completely the opposite.
Perhaps his only short comings are his eyesight and his tendancy to "dribble" a little.
These slight flaws were noticed the night of my girl's birthday party, when after a couple of bottles of Chivas, several bottles of Champagne and numerous rounds of Tequilla shots, we all ended up in an "unnamed" show Bar and RTB was seen with his head tilted well back, exhibiting the above characteristics....5555555
RTB.....sorry for my "little one's" antics on Sunday night....a tad out of control and emotional....

That other Ozzie / Brit...Bill Shake -a -spear was wrong when he reckoned...parting is such sweet sorrow....
