i stayed here my first 2 trips in '03, the maid remembered me on the second checkin which was about 9 months later.....
the breakfast buffet was good, but ending at 10am was tough to use it often

I stayed in MH last year in their delux room. Hotel looks old, room was okay....nothing great. I stayed there because I wanted to use the spa,but I coudn't due to change of program timings.
I wish to mention a point here, in their web site, it is mentioned about the Karoke club. It should be known to all of us here that they dont encourage or allow other than korean people. Really dont know why. I tried to sit and drink beer in the karaoke Bar...I am told politely "Sir,this place is for Korean people "...I came back to MH hotel and wanted to inform the Manager, who was not available, and next day I decided to move out. The reception girl told me that,no it is part of the hotel, and hotel guest can go their and drink....then why not me ? She said, you try tonight...I said I am leaving...may be next time... I want to know if any one has such experience there ?

Without any prior checking, I arrived straight from the airport 2 days ago, and heard that they have closed down the spa facilities about 6 months ago. So, I didn't check inn and called a taxi and directed him to Town lodge.

Gents,
I am eyeing Manhattan as the base camp for a 4-day, late-March trip. I need some confirmation from the members here...
- Does the hotel have an in-room safe?
- I am assuming it is still girl-friendly. However, if due to unforseeable circumstances, I find myself bringing back two (or three?) ladies, would this be a problem? [after a few drinks, my ability to count goes downhill, fast...]
I am planning to book a double... but does this mean extra charage (and hassle) if a threesome looks plausible and within reach?
- Any noise issues from nearby construction?
- Any other issues?

Shaw321- I don't see any reason why can't you bring 2 cuties there. It is girl friendly hotel, absolutely. And if you book double delux room, there won't be any problem surely. I do not know about recent times, if construction is still going on there.
