One note of warning on the Platinum suties. They have a weird entrance door which does not lock completely if a couple of dead-bolts are not in pace at the top and the bottom. This was particularly disconcerting to me a couple fo years back as there was some drunk guy in the opposite sutie who made it into my room while I was otherwise engaged with an Isaan cutie. Luckily he was just passing through in his drunken stupor and I locked up properly after him and got back to business. It was cuties birthday the next day and I had no problem bringing back 5 of her firends for a party (platonic) by the pool. Still my favourite stop.

Stayed at PS on Feb 4, 2006 in the Solitaire Suite. Great room. Big and wide. Very open. Love the glass shower and bath tub... not to mention the 42" plasma tv (don't worry my "date" didn't care for watching tv). One can really live their fantasy in this room. Overall, very satisfying. Far better than most hotel I've been to in the US that cost more than PS. I highly recommend the Solitaire Suite for the roomy touch of home...
Con: local calls are not free. Got charged 350 baht for making 4 phone calls not lasting over 5 minutes a piece.

hi,
close to booking the platinum suite for two weeks over april, mainly due to the jacuazzi. I note in the first page of replys someone mentions that the jacuzzi is not very good..dirty water etc...anyone else have an opinion on the jacuzzis in this suite.?? Are they big?? clean etc??

The Jacuzzi in the room I stayed in was good, water clean and big enough for 5 or 6 people.

It would have to be 5 or 6 very small people.
I've stayed in 3 different "Platinum Suites" and the water pressure is not strong enough to give a real Jacuzzi
"experience" plus the water generally has had a yellowish tint to it. Something you don't notice if you are taking a shower, but you will definitely notice when you fill the tub. You with 2 Classic Issan Cuties and there won't much space to spare.

Are you sure you got the Platinum and not the Solitaire? Both come with a Jacuzzi but the Platinum has a bigger one. You may have paid for Platinum but got the less epxensive Solitaire, as they were sold out. The other way around is possible, pay for Solitaire, get the Platinum. About 1000 baht price difference... if you don't know the differences between these too to complain, you may get the wrong one while paying for the more expensive suite.

The Solitaire Suite does not have a jacuzzi, only the Platinum Suites do. The Platinum Suite also has 2 TV's and the Solitaire only 1 which is located in the bedroom area.

I just confirmed my reservation which also include a complmentary airport transfer. I'm curious to know where to meet the hotel driver. This is their direction, "Airport transfer upon arrival: Please TURN LEFT AT GENERAL PASSENGER EXIT, a driver will await you with a paging board." So where exactly is General Passenger Exit? Is it after the crowd that has their sign up for their arrival guest? Or is it before this?
Any help from the veterans would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for being such a newbie... a couple more trips and I should be smooth sailing...

As you come out of the arrival hall you will see crowd barriers in front of you, swing left and start to walk down past the barriers, there you will see many guys and girls with name signs ie your name or the name of the Hotel.
Its no big deal.
