I was not aware the situation is that bad that Toxic lost the girls working there (i.e. no customers = girls wont stay around).
I am sure RTB can "arrange" girls to come if I pay... but then I can do the same from perhaps better sources? LOL I suggest RTB forms a venture with DL where the good doctor brings the newbies to the TL and RTB supplies them with booz and girls for the night... 
I do not think it will be just the TownLodge/Toxic facing a very hard time now/next year. Many small hotels will face same.
I guess I will be staying at my usual 5* hotel suite then... waiting to hear about the report from the new hotel at the Central World though...

On the contrary I feel that Hotels like Town Lodge will be Ok,and I urge all members to support Town Lodge 
For a lot of the members this site has taught them all types Info and requests, by just asking.
How many of you members have been to the RT's held at Toxic, after the RT moves on with some local ex pats such as RTBS, BK, IBfalang, LY who ever, they know what's the Go! and usually take you out on a Top Night to some Great place's that you would not normally venture. For FREE
I know most Guys from the US love to get the 5 stars Hotels when on there Holidays, sorry Vacation, but really there will be less on Vacation as Money gets tighter, I can never get it why spend $200 a night just to impress some BG?
One could have a real fine time with the change & 2-3 BG's in the TL spa, sorry my Aussie again (jacuzzi )
there's DVD players In the jacuzzi rooms, wack in a pono and Bob's Your Uncle!
The Big Hotels have Big overheads and higher running costs, just like in any Business the Big ones are more likely to put off staff first, while the small ones hang in.

You indeed did not get it, this is not to impress a BG, this is for me to enjoy... the BG is part of the service... and no, it does not cost me US$200 a night.. 1/2 of that or less (and will be less as the B to $ exchange gets better...).
I am all for supporting the TL indeed, if members got benefit from such, by all means, go stay with the TL!

There are some smart people who stay in these 5 star hotels for free, using the accumulated reward points. My friend had a two week vacation, stayed at JW Marriot, all he paid was an extra $17. Airfare and hotel on his points.
