i believe the sheraton grande has started charging extra for a double room. previously, u could book by the room type, but the charge would be the same for single or double occupancy (u had to pay, of course, for an additional third bed if u wanted one, but they never quibbled over the second guest). i've just been quoted an extra B900 for a grande deluxe room for double occupancy over the B7000++ per night rate by sgs reservations!
does that mean the hotel has become less girl friendly? if one books single and brings a tg in, will they charge a joiner fee? because that would really suck, as apart from the fabulous location and service, girl friendliness was the best feature of the sgs and worth the high prices. now i'll have to seriously think twice about paying 5 star rates if my evening guests are no longer permitted 'on the house'. 
anyone know what's up, or has recent experience of any policy change vis bringing tgfs to the hotel??

always very girl friendly.
have been 4 nights with cutties, going in bar su or note, having fun till afternoon, room cleaning made at end oh the day, no, problem, neither price increased on a 1 person resa.

As I understand it you can take the girls from Bar Su to your room but not outside girls unless they check in with you

No issues at SGS bringing in company. If the TG arrives without you, the security will call your room and escort them up. They are good at figuring out which girls are true guests of the hotel, and which are visitors.
