I have stayed at the Grace couple of years ago and never had a problem with bring anyone in.
Just last week I was at the ambassador and walked to Grace to see what was happening. It seemed dead in the coffee shop. It used to be lively before (few years ago). I did not go in just looked from outside.
They had some 100 / 200 sign posted at the coffee shop. Don't know if that was some cover charge. It looked dead so I did not bother to enquire.
I rember in the past when women you to mill all along the steps in Grace. Maybe its just the Ramadan month so less guests and so less women too.

I must tell that the Grace lobby is very interesting for those same me who like chubby girls. Some of the hookers there are too fat but others are just deliciously plump. I have not noticed that girls were junkies or only to Singha Beer !
But I have seen, with the Middle East costumers, some sexy chicks who were, I think, from the same area (Lebanon?) or from Turkey or ex-sovietic turkish-speaking republics. They were short-dressed, over maked-up, vulgar but very exciting for me... Somebody can may be tell me if they come from Middle-East with a muslim "boyfriend" who has choosen them there or if, as the MP's russians, they are living in BKK the whole year ??? I was never sure that those who were alone in the lobby were really alone and never tried to speak to them... I am very interesting in an answer before my next trip in a few weeks. Thanks !

Breakfast ain't included, no problem bringing a girl or girls back, the security takes their ID's and phone you when they leave to ask if it is OK for them to do so.
No problem with people from the middle east.

My understanding is that it has an international clientele, including many Arabs (very friendly and hospitable people, based on my many years experience living and working with them). Grace is also a good place for finding Russian and CIS girls. So the demographics would appeal to many.

...and probably different price too. The Arabs tend to trash and mess up their rooms, giving housekeeping more work.
