as for the hotel issue to each his own. ive stayed in better places in bangkok such as the j.w. marriott sukumvit soi 4.
but as i fund my own accomodation costs in los ,i dont see any point in paying "overs" like 4000bht per night for luxury, when all im there for are the "sluts" and "whores" just like the rest of you guys reading this thread.
too refer to them as anything else other than whores might make haam sup feel better, but in reality the truth be known they are WHORES. i dont use this term in a derogitory sense, but we all go to los to pay women for the use of thier pussy.
haap sup its reality check time, get out your dictionary and look up whore, and you will find that the meaning goes along the lines of you pay her $ she lets you play with her pussy.
Haam sup, if referring to these whores as ladies, bargirls, or business women makes you feel more at ease, then by all means please continue to do so. as for me ill continue to call a spade a spade.

I cant seem to find the ambasadors web site. All I get are those damm booking agents. I know I can get a room there for 900 or less. Any thoughts on how to contact them directly?

The Ambassador is probably one of the worst hotels IMHO in the Suk area.
Firstly they are extremely bureaucratic and it takes ages to check in and out,
Secondly they hassle you when you try and bring and BG back for 500 baht.
Who needs it?
Thirdly the rooms in the main wing are musty and are well past their use by date.
Finally if you ever make breakfast it is one of the worst i have had.
There are plenty better in the Suk area.

I have used this hotel from I think '94 to somewhere '97 a few nights per month. The main reason was its location, the size of its rooms and it was very girl friendly. During this time it has been going down, down and further down.
Then at one stage there was always something, toilet would'nt flush, dirty sheets, TV not working. I would always keep the little check in cards because I thought one day I might need them. This day came when I was so fed up with all this hassle, slow checking-in, the trip to the room the trip back to ask for another room and so on. I asked to see the manager who surprisingly showed up. I explained him the situation and proved my loyalty to his hotel by showing him a stack of around 50 check-in cards. The manager did not seem to be very interested in my misery. I asked him for an upgrade, which he declined. I told that I would leave, up to you he replied.
That was my last visit to "The" Ambassador Hotel. The managent is very unprofessional and arrogant. It could do with some changes or a big fire.

Hi, I got the booking done for the Ambassador hotel thru my Travel Agent and he has charged me B3500 for a two night stay. I have already paid him the amount. After reading the posts I told him that he had taken me for a ride but he said that the 3500 Bhats include the Airport transfers, 2N/3D stay, Bufet breakfast and a half day city & temple tour. So is it like that the agent has given me a good deal or is still making a fool of me
Also as I would be staying in BBK for a weeks time and i have only 2N/3D resevation at the Ambassador, first I had thought that that I would be extending my stay at the Ambassador Hotel but after reading some of the posts at this forum I am having second thoughts.
1 I would like to ask you guys that is the ambassador worth staying at in terms of amenities, facilities, cleaniness etc
2 Do they trouble the you on bringing the BG for TGF. As earlier on this post some ppl had mentioned that they do trouble you and some say that they do not and the last post was over a month old so I thought maybe i'd ask about it?
3 What should be the average rent at Ambassador Hotel and what is the difference in the MAIN WING and the TOWER WING
4 what other hotels are available in the range of 800 to 1200 Bhats (per day) and that are better than the Ambassador.
