it is indeed a very "odd" hotel.
When I was there (august 2004) Me and my mate came in by a booking made by a Pakistani having a tour agency in BKK (a buisiness relation of my mate).
At the reception desk, they were not aware we had a booking. Wanted to charge us 1500 Thai bath a piece.
A lot of hassle and again phoning to the Pakistani made things clear, but only when the Pakistani was able to show up. So 30 minutes later the Pakistani showed up to confirm the booking personally LOL !
We agreed on a price and it would have been 1100 Thbath. but no Guests !!! WTF !! The pakistani promised us it was price guest included. So again some dialogues where necessary to make sure we could bring in our daily meat.
Was finally ok. We wanted to pay at the front desk, but.... the receptionnist pointed with his finger towards the Pakistani : "you pay him". LOL
So we gave our bath to the agent and after all this confusion, my mate got a room on 2nd floor and myself on 3rd floor. he 236, me 336 LOL.
For the rest hotel was ok. No problems with services, towels or whatsoever.
But Indeed, confirmation : the breakfast is mi chai mi chai. It's buffet style and the eggs are like rubber.
