Re: the Loom....Nah keep going the way you are.... 2500 (5 or more nights) is defo the best deal in Bkk.. but Tim is a good source for someone wanting to book via the net
When are you headed back???
I'll be in town 2 Nov (briefly)...then upcountry to the "Vill" again....we will try and visit Barra this trip for a day or 2...
Need to be Back in Bkk around 8 Nov for a Birthday Party for you know who!!!!

I'd stay at the TL again if my TGF didn't think the walk was too long. 6 minutes walking with a TG is a loooooong time. And, the tuk-tuk is not ALWAYS available (nor should it be).
We'll be there Friday. Amazingly, my TG thinks the walk is NOT too long if there are drinks at the end of the walk.
I'll have to check out #208, assuming DF and friends have not trashed it. 55555

Even the standard rooms are a bargain in my opinion,, being that close to an English Aristocrat such as RTB has got to be worth bid $$$$$.
I saw the rooms at Swiss park and was VERY dissapointed.
Add the nice rooms to the service from RTB and the wonderfull crew and you have a bargain.

I have booked a standard room at TL on the premise that they are the same as those rooms provided at Grotino...
Is this correct or should I look to upgrade???? 7 days and counting...
This is a departure from where I normally stay.. it is always difficult when deciding.. do I go with what I know or try something new... ??

Standard rooms are fine and very reasonably priced, but smaller than Grottino.
208 is a great "Party" room, as the Jaquzzi suites are 2 -3 times larger than the standard rooms. Definitely the best room in the place
TL is a very comfortable and friendly place to stay. Staff are good and the whole vibe of the place is excellent.
Add Toxic to the mix and you've got a great Bar to start, finish or spend the whole night.
Check things out when you get there, you can always upgrade if you want (provided there's one available)

I too remember that walk about well. RTB couldn't keep his hands of the big breasted girl and I couldn't decide which lucky woman was going home with me...lol I had a fun time, fell in lust 3-4 times that night and had a blast. We need to make a run again if we meet up...lol
For the record...all my exploits with the infamous Wowser have been outstanding!!! He's a true Mate and I'll always have his back. Nothing but good times happen when DEF and Wowser get it going in BKK…lol

Thanks RTB.. Had a good stay in TL.. standard room (deluxe not available) but was OK and price good enough that I could retain the room for the few days I went to Pattaya which meant I did not have to drag all my luggage with me.. Staff brilliant and helpful.
as for the walk to Sukhumvit it took me less than 5 mins to walk up to Suk ( I am a reasonably quick walker mind you)
good bar?club and met a few guys whilst there funny how I also met them again in Cowboy... back in about 8 weeks so will stay again.
As said your girl serving the drinks is fantastic
