With a world economy meltdown and a local thqi political meltdown, I would not invest anything. I am suprized they even do pain touch-ups. We are ahead of a long economical and political winter. Many will cancel trips simply because they are worried about their jobs and pensions. This is not the time for business as usual. Wake up and smell the troubles all around us in the world today.
Prices will tumble because of lack in room demands and the new hotels all around. Remember 1997? That one was asian region. Now we are talking about a world economy meltdown - much worse and longer to cure.
Try your best to get the rooms filled, offer extras as you did, a free drink or something like that, room upgrade for free etc. IMHO next year will be critical from all aspects.
Sorry to be so pesimistic - just tell you to be careful with any investment in the TL these days....

A perusal of this thread reveals that at times Town Lodge has suffered intermittent disruption of its hot water,at least one total failure of its water supply lasting 36 hours,Wi Fi working in some rooms but not others,and staff giving unsatisfactory service.However,no complaints have been recorded about these matters over the last 12 months or so.Is it the case that these problems have been overcome,at least for the time being?
