I've stayed at Silver Dollar, in one of the corners of Wash. Sq., it was 450b/night
the shower was external to the room, but there was no one else on our floor, so no worries
they cleaned the room while I was out and about during the day, television with cable TV, aircon, fridge
you can carry your beer (from the bar) to the room, and they allow gals from outside to come stay with you
they also encourage you to sleep with BGs in the bar, oh the humanity

Texas Lone Star have rooms. They also have delicious food at very low prices. Free Barbie Saturday afternoons at 3 pm. A locals hang out.

Hi Gents,
Has anyone stayed at Bourbon St boutique hotel in Washington Sqare Soi22 Sukhumvit. Rates seem o.k. but main concern is whether 'GF / BG friendly', I would be paying for a double room, and staying up to 7 nights.
Is there any other accommodation up to around 1600 baht/nt around Soi22 that anyone knows of.

Hey Liam...We're going to have to stop meeting like this, lol. Never stayed at Bourbon Street. Eaten there a lot, but haven't stayed there or even seen the rooms. Buddies of mine have/do stay there & think it's O.K. It's definately girl friendly, not an issue at all. For reference, one of my friends said the room is not quite as nice as the rooms at Eden, proper, not the hotel they also use just a few doors down. The only other places I know in the area are Admiral Suites (2100 Baht) & President Park (about 1850 Baht). Then there are the other places in Washington Square as discussed above. Personally, I'd spend the extra Baht & do Admiral or President Park, but that's just me. Happy hunting...Matt

I stayed at Bourbon Street from 17 - 20 Feb. Very guest friendly. The Big Rooms are OK, if a little bit tatty.
Cost me 1200 Bht a night including a 95 Bht breakfast voucher for the restaurant doenstairs. Great location.
