Done the thread search, etc. but can't seem to find if the Menam Riverside is guest friendly?
Don't want to cause any problems with the hotel if TG's are not welcome to join me upstairs...

It was a couple of years ago when a friend stayed there. Can't think of any reason why it should have changed.
Frankly the hotel itself was a bit down at heel and not cheap and its a bit out the way. Only thing you could say about it was the view of the river from the rooms on that side.

I was there at November 2003, nice hotel, but have 800 bht joiner fee. So I said - never more

Already booked with them on the recommendation of friends before I realized how far it was from everything. Anyone know approximately how much metred taxi fare would be from Soi Cowboy, Annies, etc?

Remember, there are also a few girls available on a shorter distance.... Patpong!
Taxi fare at what time? Maybe before midnight to take a taxi to/from the nearest BTS station (probably 5 minutes away).
After midnight fare should be under 100 baht (most likely 80 baht or so) from Sukhumvit.
