Hi, I get a cheap flight ticket to bkk. I arrive on the 27.02. and stay until the 04.03. Now I search desperate an room at the sukhumvit area. I want to spent 3000 maximum per night. Any suggestions? Is it possible to get a room via priceline or precisionreservations in this short range?

3000b will get you almost any 3-4 star hotels along Sukum. area
try http://www.res24.com, it list hotels with all inclusive total prices (tax etc)
note: precisionreservation only list prices of hotels before tax and surcharges. so the actual total will vary.

You shoud definitely be able to get a 4 star Hotel, and probably a 5 star for 3000 baht. I have used Priceline USA on the same day of arrival for USA hotels. Worst that can happen is they decline your request.

And if you're here for p4p, make sure you're hotel is also guest friendly.
Perhaps it's best to take a look at:

and work your way until you find an hotel with available rooms. But remember it's still high season and you're quite late...

If you really can't find anything, you can always rent my room (including or excluding TG)......
