a bit run down good location nice breakfast and night buffet,ok if on budget.better in same area is sandy springs.lek or areca lodge which is the best -*i.e 4 star at 2 star price. For any info on pattaya type in pattaya lap.for hotel reviews type flb bar pattaya.love pattaya go 3times a year

been doing some Pattaya hotel research. First type in Apex in search under Pattaya forum.
In short read that the Apex has a history of over charging--Check your bill. Heard of some clenliness issues and have heard that is good value for money. Go to pattaya-at-night.com and check of the hotels--they also tell of the ones with no joiner fee.
I checked out flbbar.com. They have a great hotel special which I will be staying at in Apr.

stayed there 2 years ago for 2 nights.
worn rooms, noisy a/c ( they didn't want to fix it ) and most of all - nasty reception staff. at 11:00am they wanted to force me check out.
you better find another place.

Baybreeze just around the corner on Soi 11 is a good hotel for the money. GF, I asked about bringing a girl in, they said, "Only 1"
Rates about 600, 800 for a bigger room.

Eastiny Place Soi 8. 980 baht, so it costs a little more. Modern hotel, balcony, and good pool. Breakfast not included. Get a room facing the pool for noise reasons. I have read mixed reviews about Apex, but I plan to stay there next trip.
