I woulds suggest the President Solitaire, its about $75.00 USD for a suite, rooms are great, food only marginal but your oinly 5 minutes walk to the Suk and 10 minutes to Nana!

The President Solitaire has jacked UP their rates so high since the first of the year that if you were to taken advantage of their current "promotional rate" it would come to around $85.00US by the time they get done with you. Last year at this time you could get a suite for that much money. You might get as good or better deal trying to get a room at the J.W. Marriott via Priceline.

Hey bro, I am a big fan of the Royal President....it is about 5 blocks off of Suk and Soi 15 and a short walk to NEP and or the BTS. Fairly quiet location...rooms are in your price range and the staff are very nice. I will likely stay there in October when I return to BKK.

If you are looking for convenience and dont require a premium room consider Nana hotel. A stones throw away from NEP and they have the disco downstairs full of freelancers and the parking lot gets filled with freelancers at night. Nana hotel is the ultimate in convenience but the rooms are not too nice....

Personally I am not too big on big fancy rooms with a ton of amenities. If you can do without niceties but want to maximize your convenience....Nana cant be beat.
