Looking for a reasonable GF beach hotel on Koh Samui, does anyone have any recomendations, somewhere near all the nightnight.
Thinking of using the Ever Green Resort, anyone any experience of this place ?

I was at the Evergreen Resort bungalows last June. Cheap, clean, girl friendly, central to the action. Good eating at the restaurant on the beach.

...also consider a bungalow complex called Long Beach Lodge...opposite McDonalds...very girl friendly...and when I was there 2 years ago, newly built & detached...!

Hi, I plan on going to Koh Samui in Feb for a week. Anyone got any new recommendations for good hotels within walking distance of the action (Green Mango area) and with access to the beach?
I was planning to take pot luck when I got there, but I'm guessing it might be better to book in advance.
Been a while since I was last there, and guess it has changed a bit since.

i stayed at banana fansea two months ago and it was great but bit far from green mangoes but good clean private beach and good breakfast

Ark Bar if you like partying - great location, nice clean rooms, lots of 20/30 crowd up for a party, girl friendly.

Stayed at Al's Resort in Chaweng, slap bang in the middle of the Chaweng strip. Rooms were pretty nice, clean, good bathroom, nice amount of space, right next to the beach and close to the bars, shops and a supermarket (in case you need to pop out for another packet of rubbers!) Had no problem bringing TG's back with me.
Try http://www.gothailand.com/samui.htm - click on chaweng and you'll see Al's Hut and Al's resort - decent price as well. I'm back there in April for Songkran (Thai New Year).
