Hi guys...
stayed in Siam City Hotel....Totally non-GF at all...
Local Thai management....but I have to say that the breakfast spread is pretty delicious....
Though Sofitel Silom is one of the best I have ever tried...

Besides the positon of GM or CFO or Resident Manager in the major hotels, 99% of the management is Thai....so what's the surprise on this???
Btw, Siam City is quite old and it barely fits into the 4 star category...only good thing is the position, next to a couple of nice MPs....

I have stayed there several times:
Advantages - good breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets (starve yourself for a day a pig out on the lunch or dinner buffets), location near BTS and CP2
Disadvantage - lousy gym, very girl unfriendly (surcharge and registration at the desk), location far away from Suk, PP and Ratcha
It is 3 to 4 star, max
I no longer stay there, prefer JWM and SGS
