Yes, a few months ago Amb changed their policy and no longer is guest friendly.
Bummer as it was about the best deal (value/price) in town at 7000B/week.
Too bad..... some good things never last too long.
But the gorgeous available LOS ladies will we all hope.

When I have stayed at Ambasador I always book double and have never had a problem..When stopped at the the elevator they look up the name and see double and wai you on your way,,,,

It was late febuary and when I checked in I told them my "wife" was flyng in later..they gave me two breakfast coupons and it was reflected there were two people in the room...

If you registered with your wife it is a non issue for you.
We are talking about hobbyists who bring a different girls back each night. Even booking a double will not elimiante the 700B joiner fee they are now charging.
Too bad.... such a nice big hotel altho the rooms need some refurbishing imho.

have been there recently for a couple of days in ambassador main wing. Booked double occupancy via internet due to reasonable room rates. Room was so far o.k, even a bit scrappy to my taste... particular the bath room.
Bring in my barons gf was a hassle due to that security idiots in front of the elevator. The keep on asking me for joiner fee until I got exploded and heavily complained at the front desk for what I have booked double occupancy. After minutes of hick hack excursions through the hall of shame I felt really pissed even they finally excepted her after copy her ID card and whatelse ??? Bottomline, I'll never go back that place... it's just a bunch of bullshit.
