I noticed on another Thai Website that they are supposedly now not GF? Being located in Soi33 and near to Cowboy, I am little surprised? The other Novotel in Siam Square has always been difficult! Maybe a change of policy!

There have been some negative reports from other users as well. They were charged the joiner fee even though they had booked double occupancy. If you notice, Novotel Lotus is no longer on the girl/guest friendly list.

To clarify my post, I have stayed there many times without an issue about being GF, never had a problem. The policy must be fairly new?

stayed there for 3 times till now but I won't do it again.
the negative attitude to lonely farangs,there, is rising.
Firstly, upon check in, they try to avoid your request to have a double bed room ( "sorry sir, no have"...),but after some insistence, they suddenly "find" the requested room 4 u.
Then, upon bringing back a girl with you, they keep you for 5-10 minuts in the lobby to check if u booked a double room.
Never been charged, but the attitude of the staff there's arrogant and disgusting.

However, when I got my confirmation from the Novotel Lotus, it clearly specified that there was a 3,500 Baht joiner fee.
I got that from an email some time ago.
