I have just departed the LOS after spending a happy two weeks there.
Seeing that most posts on the Dynasty Inn (Soi 4, Sukhumvit) are now considerably old, I thought some members may appreciate an update on staying there.
Currently, the tariff on the room is 1090 baht per night inclusive. The hotel had plenty of guests staying there. I found the room (I believe in the older section of the hotel, my window overlooked Soi 4) to be clean and comfortable and I felt quite relaxed there. I bought back my GF everynight and experienced no hassles from the reception staff. I did not bring back more than one girl, so am unable to provide comment to members on this aspect.
Some things I did not like were I thought the shower was crappy and I did not have my own coffee making facilities. Also, it does not have an inroom safe, instead I availed myself of the safety deposit box at reception.
Things I did like include its great location, the price of the room and what I thought was quite edible food from the coffee shop.

I stayed there a month last month, force of habit
i suppose in the front rooms 503 and the like and on the roof I was picking up wireless internet.Mostly from the marriot hotel, their security is not so hot 700 bt a day is charged, I was logging in on someone elses name without any difficulty.....

I have stayed there several times and have always asked to stay at the rear part of the hotel.
The rooms there are ok, clean bathroom and new, quiet from street noise.
1090 bht per night, still good value.

when you have stayed often you can ask for rooms where you want.They also have larger rooms available for 1200 baht, and at the front on the roof there is\a patio area with chairs only one room too so private. Seems room enough for a pool cheap charlies.

but wanted a larger room in that vicinity and found the dynasty inn site
anyone know if dynasty inn's room is larger than the majestic suites' and got any updated comments about the place?

I have an small question which I can't get answered in the listings.
The back rooms ( separate building with there own entry ) of the Dynasty Inn ( Soi 4 ), do they have an separate shower or baht ?
I don't likes baths with shower ( I always fall when I’m pissed ) but I like to have an shower together with my tilac's
Maybe someone have some recent information about this rooms/hotel because I’m planning to stay there next month for 48 Hrs fun.

Hi,
I stayed in the newer section (round the back) earlier this year, The rooms have bath and shower together (so be carefull when drunk!).
The rooms are basic but have most things you need (air con/tv etc) but more importantly for me was that they were clean (nana hotel take note).
I think for the money and location the hotel is just fine.

Merijin, sorry too say in the back section its a bath shower thing, so be careful if you get pissed.
Ive fallen over in the fecking shower and it cost plenty to get it sorted, no damage to the bath only me 
Btw Just got an e-mail from them the price now has gone up 1290 bht per night.
