Any idea with the President Solitaire? They've increased their prices significantly and now inform me they don't offer weekly (discounted) rates.
Is this a trend with the President group?

i stay in the solitaire at the moment on a weekly base! yes prices are up a lot, but still a very decent place to stay!

If u tell us how much u were quoted I can give u an idea of value, having stayed there a long time. most people pay between 55-70000 per month, depending on type of appartment.

I stayed at the President Solitaire a few times but now they have increased their prices so decided to go to the Royal President on Soi15. Sapphire suite 2,700 baht per night plus taxes on top. Their monthly rates go from 39.000 baht to 64,000 baht depending on the room. I would think you will have to add tax to that figure as well. It says on their internet site they do weekly rates as well.

i am using my corporate rate with them, which is thb 28,000 for a platinum a week or 85,000 a month. hope that helps as normal rates will be much higher!

u are getting raped at 85,000 unless u are in the penthouse. the hotel is rarely full. u should negotiate and be tough with them. they have lost quite a few long term customers recently...including me. u could also do what I did once...negotiate a monthly and then check out after 2 weeks.

I have stayed in the Penthouse Suite on 3 different occaisions and must say that I prefer the Platinum Suite because of the setup and bathroom in the Platinum Suites. Just finished a 30 day stay at President Solitaire last week.
