Hi!
it seems I'm closing down on those two places for this summer. Anyone able to compare them?? I think I prefer the Marriot location but what about the rooms?
Besides as i'll be there on and off during 29 days, do U know any agent giving cheap daily vouchers?

I would be pretty suprised if the mayfair were guest friendly, at least with girls from Nana. Langsuan is rather upscale and a bar girl will deff. stick out!

But sure I would love some more feedback because bad surprises may happen.
On the other hand I've read many very positive reports about Emporium Suite and would feel a bit safer checking in there. Plan to organise small after parties as well and don't want any headache with the night staff

I stayed in the Mayfair Marriott last july. I had a 2 bedroom unit. Very Nice. Good size fridge in kitchen. Combo washing machine and dryer. ( Came in handy as BA lost my luggage for a day ) Great master bedroom with excellent bathroom.
3 flat screen large tv's. Dvd / stereo in lounge room.
Breakfast was ok to good. Room service was good at reasonable prices. 5 minute walk up to Chitlon BTS. or 4 minute walk to the other line that goes to taksin / river.
Had a take away Eden girl with me. No problems at all. The girl loved the place. She stayed until she had to go back to work at 12.
I would love to stay there again.
I have never seen any cheap discounts at the Marriott. I paid 5500 Baht ++ a night for the 2 bedroom. Asiatravel now have it at 7400++ a night !

If you substituted a few words in sr007au's report on the Mayfair Marriott, you'd have my report on the Emporium Suites from June this year. I had a one-bedroom suite and it didn't include a washer-dryer, but did feature a full kitchen. Had three girls over from Eden for all-night session and they stayed until late morning as well because they liked the suite so much (one had a few hours swimming and hanging out by the pool, the other two watched DVDs on the big screen).
In terms of location, Emporium Suites probably has a bit of an advantage. Price is compatible

Stayed at the Mayfair Marriott for quite some time and it was excellent, especially the Desk/Study area provided in my suite.
An additional advantage is that I picked up a lot of Marriott Rewards points to use for free rooms in Bali, HK, London, etc...
Edit In: Took both LT and ST ladies there, no one blinked an eye...
