I would like more information about this hotel if anyone could provide information would be appreciated. It is guest friendly and what rate? I was recommended but not sure?

have been there about 1 year ago together with my Thai GF. Have booked it via internet, I cannot remember the exact room rate but it was less than 1K baht. Room was great, cannot complain anything at all. No problems with girls, works perfect with me... - I would go once more.
However, it was one year before - I don't know the situation now as in BKK things can change rapidly.

The rooms there are not that great. The breakfast is mediocre, too. The room rate in January was about 1000 baht w/ breakfast. They are girl friendly. For just a tad more, I'd suggest you stay at the Grand Hotel also on Ratchada.

I stayed in Siam Beverley jan 12-14 and Jan 18-21, was about 1,000BHT, but cheaper now (around 850BHT)..
I support that this is the best hotel ( balance of price room, location, service etc ) that I have been in in BKK.
Being girl-friendly unless you want her to have breakfast just pay single rate.....
Once again I recommend checking prices through.....

January has higher rates. It's a cheap hotel and that's about all it is. If you have the right connections, you can stay at the Grand across the street from Poseidon for 300 baht more and it's worth it IMO. Much nicer room, girl friendly (just setup for guest no extra fee), and better breakfast that doesn't have cockroaches crawling around the food like I saw at Siam Beverly. However, it's a little further walk to the MPs near Huay Kwang and also the HK night market. Easy decision for me though, it all depends what you want.

priest,,, Palazzo looks great and only a few Baht more than Siam beverley. Will try on next trip.
Grand hotel has mixed reviews, some give it 5 stars some 1 star, but probably worth a look.
P.S This is exactly the type of information sharing that this site is designed for.

It is probably closer to a 2.5 star hotel. It is clean but doesn't have an inroom safe. With that being said, I have left all my stuff in there without any problems. It is cheap enough where I have kept the Palazzo and a hotel on Sukumvit because it is so hot sometimes and I just want to rest. Can't go wrong because once you come out of the hotel, make a right and you are at Mirage. Make a left and you are Nataree, Hi Class and Emmanuellle. Also Col2 is nearby.
