Last time I was in Bangkok I stayed at the Sol Twin Towers Hotel for 3000 per night. This was all inclusive package. I got three meals a day at one of 4 hotel eatery. I could order anything on the menu. I got all my drinks including Johnny Walker Black, Jack Daniels etc. I could drink as much beer or wine as I wanted. As a Irish/American that can be quite alot. Free use of spa, pool and a 30% discount on in house massage and internet service. This is a good 3 star hotel and is located less then 10 minute walk to National Stadium BTS. I am staying at this hotel for part of my upcomming visit to Thailand. Only 9 days until I return.

Not really, I get up have breakfast or light lunch and go to Annies for my soapy some days, I will see the sights. I come back for in the afternoon for a shower and a nap. Get up for dinner and a drink and hit the night life. I listen to the band at the bar with my BG of the day buy her a couple of drinks have a few myself and we finish up the evening. I have stayed at places where everything is ala carte or all inclusive. The Sol Twin Towers has worked out the best for me as I will sometimes keep a BG for a few days and only paying for her meals and drinks is cheaper. I like knowing what my daily costs are up front as it's easier to budget for a long stay. I'm staying 26 days this trip.

have to agree with casey.
i paid 800 per night.
i would/could never drink or eat 2200 each day at my hotel.
what were you spending in the bars?.
i stayed for 26 nights the last time and my bill for room,food,mini-bar,taxi's and laundry was 26,000.
you paid more in 9 nights then i did in 26.
but as you,i bought drink at local 7-11 and no problem

I should have mentioned that the minibar is free. I can drink 6 J.Walker Black with no trouble at all. I tend not to get drunk. I don't drink at home or I'd be dead by now. I eat top shelf from the menu. One thing I don't do is eat at local resturant's as I am prone to get sick. Hotel uses filtered water in their kitchen. One reason I posted this all inclusive was some were saying they were paying 1800 for Windsor Suites for a extra 1200 per day Sol Twin is a better deal. I realize that I could spend a bit less but for $75.USD per day this is hard to beat for the quality lodging, eats and drinks.

why not stay at a cheaper hotel and have your BG for the day set you up at food from one of four million sidewalk restaurants. I work in food and turnover is everything as far as safety is concerned
