Just about to book the Royal President via Asia Rooms and noticed these two "Notes from the hotel"

*** The Serviced Apartment will be charging an additional charge 350 baht should a resident bring along a guest to spend the night at the apartment. Please pay directly with the apartment

*** For security seasons, the guest will be registered and receipt will be issued for the additional payment.

Is this new? I thought the Royal President was girl friendly. Or is this not put into practice? I've not seen it on other sites for the Royal President.

By the way I was booking a double room.

I should have looked down the forum in a bit more detail.

The same question came up but reference the President Park.

Looking at the replies it just appears to be on Aisa Rooms and is not enforced.
