Hey guys. Im planning on staying at the Majestic Grande in Jun/July time and have been quoted Baht, 3990 per night for the Grande Deluxe room. That price is direct from the Majestic. Can anyone tell me any other places I might be able to get quotes for that hotel? I usually use Expedia but that is showing the hotel as fully booked and also gives a shit prices for available days. Any help would be appreciated.

This price totally is Ok. In comparison I paid 4200 for the same room. When I went there a few weeks ago, they told me I could have gotten a better rate just thru internet booking. So it looks like you got the better rate already. What else can I say : newly build hotel, girl friendly, great location (soi 2). It is 5 stars IMHO.

Call Majestic Suites (MG's sister hotel) and ask what rate they can get you if you book through them. I think you can probably do better. This is how I booked my last stay at the Grande and saved some baht.

Thanks guys. I will give the suites a call now and see what they say.
To be honest im not bothered about the price as Heiko says its a good deal and im sure it is. Especially when I compare it to other hotels on Suk. But if there is a deal to be had then im gonna go for it.

Mel thanks for that but I got it a little late. I did what Last said and went through the Majestic Suites. I got it for 3500 so still cheaper than I was first quoted. Once again thanks for all the help guys.

I found that it is cheaper booking with Asia Rooms than booking direct with the hotel. In fact when I tried to extend my stay the hotel refused to equal the rate I had paid with Asia Rooms. Grande Deluxe Room on normal floor with Asia Rooms shows up as 3362 baht.

Again, that hotelreslist site is useless and confusing.
It lists only the lowest available price at a certain booking site without keeping an eye on the same type of room.
http://www.hotelguide.com lists THB 2,900, but not sure if that is the DeLuxe room.
