I will be staying at this hotel Sunday night. Have never stayed in this area. It's on Srinankarin Rd near the Kings Park and across from Seacon Square shopping area.. Anybody stayed here or know where the action is in the area. I will be arriving about midnight.

I.. errr... we that is..stayed in the bridal suite of this hotel about two years ago when the wife and I tied the knot. I can tell you it is great value for a wedding reception but not much else about it. A Thai hotel in the 3.5 star range - something I'd call an older version of say the Imperial Queens Park Hotel, minus the farangs of course.
You are in a 99% Thai area. If you are comfortable in a mostly Thai setting then the Rider Country Club is just up Srinakarin Rd about 5 mins from the hotel...we were there about 2 weeks ago....it is a popular local nightclub with live bands...the only other farang I saw was the lead singer of the late night band....lots of Thai freelance Uni type girls servcing local Thai mid 30's up males...I doubt I would have been alone for long but some Thai speak would be needed.
Seeing you are arriving so late you might consider just asking the porter about arranging a girl - it is the type of hotel that would be used to doing so for its business type guests - no idea of price but would expect upper price range.
Field report in due course pls and how much did you pay for the room? (Their website never lists room prices.)

Thanks for the info..I got e-mail from ASIAROOMS who told me that they had no rooms at this hotel during this period. I might just call the hotel myself but don't have the number. If you have their phone number I would appreiate it. Thanks
And thatns for all the info on the action in the area. Hopefully I will stay there and let everyone know via a FR of the area.
