I have stayed here on my previous 2 trips to bangkok and they were guest friendly, but let me just add this. In the group of guys that I went with, one of them knows the manager of the hotel, so there was no problem with us bringing up girls. I also saw a lot of japanese tourist with there TG coming in and out of the hotel with out any problem, only that the girl had to leave her id before being allowed up to the room.
To answer your question from what I have seen and experienced it is girl friendly, but this is thai and you just never know for sure until you try it for yourself.
I will be staying there in a week and will everyone a heads up after talking with the management.

I stayed in a junior suite for 2800 baht a night with a queen sized bed and had no problems bringing girls in with me. The girl or girls just had to leave their id.
It seems like the price goes up 400 baht every year. They are still in the process of remodeling to give it a more japanese style look. There clientele is mostly from japan from what I could tell.
I didn't ask the management but it seems to be guest friendly without any joiner fees, but then again I booked double occupancy.
My next trip I will not stay here because of a couple of reasons. La Luna/Club X and Orbit which were in walking distance are gone and only memories. The price is just not worth it too me. I will either stay at a serviced apartment or just some hotel closer to more happening nightspots.

If only one report in 6 years,, may I suggest there, may be, perhaps, a chance, that something is not good about this hotel.
Is there something particular about this hotel you find, so amasingly different, to the other thousands of hotels in BKK ? Not meaning to sound nasty,, but I am wondering why you have hunted up such an old thread for seemingly no reason.
