As promised here is a quick report on Chateau de Bangkok.
Firstly I booked this as a Sofitel advantage card holder at 2,200 Baht per night.
Room ( well more like apartment ) was described as 84 square metres and yep it was HUGE. Large open area with dining table, lounge, large TV and computer desk area,, doorway into kitchen with fridge /stove / etc down the hall to a seperate toilet and a large bathroom with dual hand basins, across the hall to a very large bedroom with extra TV, nicely set out. Some of the finishes where a bit rough, grouting needing a tidy up etc but it's not 5 star.
Looking out the window I see about 100 metres away is the Grand Sukumvit,,,,,,, It's a short walk to Sukumvit soi 1.
All up great value for the Baht.
