Yes, I know that, I thought if it was becoming a problem in North America that there would be bedbugs in LOS. The inspiration for the post was from another Pattaya Forum in a Field Report the guy had bedbug problems. So just wondering if it was a wide spread problem in Los. Perhaps becuase most hotels in LOS provide complimentary Isaan brekkie it is not a problem......breakfast in bed.

Something was biting me at Dynasty Grande when I stayed there in 07 November. I'm not sure if it was them of fleas, I'm leaning towards fleas cause they jumped.

Bugs have a greater tendency to enter hotels as companions brought by tourists than to breed from within. Given the extraordinary cleanliness of hotels generally in LOS the source of the problem lies elsewhere.

In London the problem is quite common. They are mostly carried in the clothing, bedding and in the suitcases of people who have more often than not been staying or living in "a certain part of the world".
Doesn't matter how clean the hotels are, they can jump from suitcase to bedding as easy as a pickup in the Nana carpark.
I've never really thought about this before, but I will pick my place of residence even more carefully for my next trip.

I had one experience in BKK where the hotel where I have stayed for years had bedbugs. I did not know what was up at first but had bites all over my body and the nurse at work confirmed what they were. Fortunately they did not follow me home. I have stayed at the same hotel several times since with no problem.
