We all wonder if we are getting the best room rates. Suggest this as an ongoing, rolling list of recent deals by hotels at which members recently stayed. Hotel discussions elsewhere in the Forum. Hotel details and advertised rates from elsewhere on the Internet.
Just the basics:
- Hotel name [city in which it is located]
- Date(s) you stayed
- Rate [incl/excl breakfast, tax]
- Room type [size]
- Where you booked the deal
- BRIEF comment [only information unavailable elsewhere on the Internet... worth it, or not... GF friendly yes, or no]
The idea is that members can shop about elsewhere for their preferred hotel, then check here before committing to see if they are getting a favorable rate.

Majestic Suites
2050 baht a night, Deluxe Room with WIFI and
Breakfast.
Called hotel directly for my reservation.
Guest Friendly, security will collect her ID Card.
Deluxe room was small and bathroom even smaller, but
room was clean and location can't be beat.
Didn't try the breakfast or ate any meals down stairs.
Stayed on the 6th floor, so noise from Nana didn't effect
my sleep.
Next time will just get a Superior room for 1800 baht, didn't see much difference between the two (from previous stays). Though last time I got a room it had a large bath tub, not sure exactly how they assign room classifications.
