I stay in hotels a lot so every now and then I like special places. Checked into MaDuZi close to Asok, 5* boutique hotel. Also got a free upgrade for various reasons, so the corner suite is really special. so is the staff, even the place looks like a fortress when you get there. After I had a girl with me in the afternoon, they asked whether I had a good time and whether they should clean the room and exchange towels etc.. I love this place.

who believes in published rates/rack rates at this time of the year? I have seen what I have seen here and in other places, also in relation to price. If there is one thing I can talk about is hotels. This may not be for everybody but it was the best I have experienced for a long time.

Wherever the "8k" issue comes from, I did pay far less at this time of the year. Apart from that: Whatīs wrong when someone likes this place and expresses it? Thatīs what the forum is for, isnīt it. It is the best of the 8 hotels I have stayed in Bangkok - for me, fair enough. People spend much more in the SGS or Grand Millenium and have nothing special, but thatīs everybodys choice. Itīs a free world, man. If you do not appreciate your own jacuzzi in the room, itīs ok with me. We do not have to go in there together anyway. So, whatīs the problem?
By the way: When room service arrived, I thought about a threesome, but did not dare to take the initiative.....

Maduzi can be had for about 3500 to 4000 net. So poskat is not correct in his 8k comment. Maduzi is a nice small boutique hotel in a good location and I will have no problem in going back there again.

I forgot to mention they are having a special promotion right now. If you bring three ladies to the bar and have drinks there, you get a special room rate afterwards.... (better check the terms in detail).
