Just spent 5 days here, & the place is great. A solid **** & a steal at the 1900 opening special IMO. Everything top notch. It's way better than the Park Plaza & the Westin ( the other hotels I just stayed in). They've got a nice pool & gym on the roof & they're about to open a big bar up there ala Nest at the La Fenix. Fourpoints suck in the States, but in Asia some of them are easily 4.5 stars. Grab it now, it's soon to move to 3K/nite. wj

Thanks WJ. I have seen it going up from Swiss Grottino which is on a sub soi between Soi 19 and Soi 17. I guess the front entrance is on Soi 15 but I imagine there is a back entrance on Soi 17.

A friend of mine stayed there about a year ago. I didn't get to see the room. It's definitely girlfriendly.

Staying here this trip with SPG points.
Room is a bit smaller than I expected, and no free Internet except in the lobby which sucks. But location is great. There is a back door entrance as well that requires your door key. You can avoid the walk past the front desk with it if you so wish.
Definitely girl friendly.

This additional charge for internet in your room was the sole reason why I chose not to stay at the Phachara Suites on Suk Soi6 last trip. I was booking through Saucytim & he said they wouldn't budge on this policy. So I took my money to the Amari Residences on Soi2 instead!
I find this policy a little outdated & I prefer a room inclusive of breakfast & room internet. This free internet "in the lobby" nonsense just doesn't cut it
