Can anyone confirm that the Citadines chain in BKK is guest/girlfriendly? Having booked a room in one of them I've read contrary opinions as to their willingness to allow "guests" in the rooms. That said, I did book for two just to be sure.

staying at the one on soi 23 as I type this! uber guest friendly, I love this hotel and yes it's decor is like an Ikea showroom, although not tattered! I really dig it here...especially for the price!! 3rd year in a row 
TL was my spot for the previous years and is a top notch deal, but I kinda like having a small "living room/sofa" area 
@gym, we had a little "get together" here last night w/ some "friends" from soi cowboy, it's not a bad little place

Thank you for answering my question. IMO it does seem like good value for money compared to other places that I've seen on the internet.
I agree with you Atl that an extra sofa and perhaps a small kitchenette can come in handy, even though it does look like they went to the local IKEA and got themselves a good package deal for the interiors.

Citadines is a great place. Very girlfriendly, free wi-fi, nice locations.
Even the closest to Soy Cowboi is a little bit more expensive, then you still can stay in that one in oposite side of Sukhumvit.
