Chaiyapoon Inn does have some significant disadvantages which makes many bar/hotels in Soi LK Metro better value.
(1) In the rainy season Soi Chaiyapoon gets very difficult to traverse.Its many potholes fill with water,and if it rains for sustained periods the whole road is covered with up to 20 cm of water.
(2) CH Inn has a very steep and narrow staircase making it hard to ascend/descend with luggage.
(3) The Standard double at 17 sq m, and the Deluxe at 20 sq m are smaller than most rooms available in Soi LK Metro for similar money.
The only advantage Soi Chaiyapoon has over Soi LK Metro is that it is much quieter at night.
