Stayed there twice. Didn't bring in any TGs. The elevator needed a key card, so they'll need to call you or you need to bring them with you.

I always like the people that book a hotel, THEN ask for reviews, and what people think of it.....lololol.

Stayed there last week for 2 nights and was quite impressed. The room was a little small but the bathroom is very big. Very comfortable bed. Free wifi which is nice. I had a TG visit and met her in the lobby and had no problem. Its a little far from Sukhumvit especially in hot, humid weather and having to negotiate the crappy sidewalks on the Soi. I used the motorcycle taxis quite a few times just to get to Suk and back which was OK at 20 Baht a trip. The hotel has a tuk-tuk but it never seemed to be available. Overall, good value. I will stay there again.

This hotel's feature was featured on BBC's Click (Nov 3). The Galaxy II system is not only for the room, but also controls the elevator and doubles as a room key. You can make unlimited local calls for free and it provides free 3G. Don't lose it though, they'll charge you full replacement value.

Here's my review after a few days here. Location wise this hotel is almost directly opposite from Bed Supperclub. It's in the middle of everything, you won't get bored here as it's on Soi 11. The drawback to this is that it's a busy street, often packed with cars and you have to navigate the sidewalks and walk on the street. Probably about a 5 minutes walk to the BTS Nana station. From the minute you enter, it's a very chic hotel. Not cheap shabby chic but not quite the elegant chic that you see at the Renaissance. The quality of this hotel build I'd say is pretty good. The front desk was quick to get me checked in. From the lobby there is cafeteria just past the lifts which fridges stocking sandwiches, wine, fruit, etc. Prices look very reasonable if you're hungry for a quick bite. Then toward the back of the hotel is a trendy looking rec area they call Camp Aloft with a pool table and some video game consoles. The elevator uses a key card and there are 4 of them. Sometimes the wait can be a few minutes. Right now this is a very busy hotel with a lot of international customers, but not the Persian/Arabic patrons you find at a lot of the hotels nearby here. The hallways have trendy light boxes. There are 3 types of rooms available now, the Chic, Urban, and Stylish Suite. From the description, you wouldn't know the difference between the Chic room and the Urban room and there is a small price difference with the Urban costing more. The difference is that the Urban room faces north and offers you a view of the city. You can see Q Bar below and Frasers across the street. The Chic room has a view of the building next door, hence the lower price and I hear that you might be staring directly into someone's window. Both of these rooms are the same size ~32 sqm, same exact layout so you're paying a tad extra for the view. The Stylish Suite wasn't available on Agoda but seems to be bookable via the Starwood website. A much larger room and about twice the price with a separate living area. Might try it later... Current rate + taxes puts the room just over 2600 THB/night with breakfast. The room itself is small, but very well laid out. The bathroom is a good size but no tub. Shower has dispensers for soap and shampoo. The toilet works well but the fixtures seem to be water saving so the flow rate is a bit low. The towels and bathrobes aren't very plushy or soft. There is an ironing board, iron, hair dryer, coffee machine and hot water machine. There is an alarm clock next to the bed with an iPod dock. The bed is nice and comfy, pillows big and soft. L shaped couch in the corner is functional and gives you another place to relax or type away on your notebook. The TV is large, looks to be about 42" and there is a good selection of clear channels. At 32 SQM, I was a bit worried it would be too small. It is small but it's not cramped and size isn't really an issue because of the thoughtful design. Breakfast is at Crave on the 8th floor. It was the same spread the two days I went down there. Not impressed with breakfast. The pool is on the 10th floor and there is an outdoor bar and small gym. From the lobby, you can walk up a set of lit stairs to the w xyz bar with lighted floor tiles, a bar, and some loud music. Looks interesting. They claim to have a tuk tuk though I haven't seen it. Internet access in the room can be spotty if you're on a mobile phone and you might have signal issues depending on location. I got 4 bars in my room, my friend has 5. Speed is OK, about 2Mbps down, 1Mbps up. Very girl friendly, you can just walk by the front desk without any issues. My friend had a girl come in late by herself and they sent her to his room but did take her ID. If you walk in w/ the girl they don't do anything. Overall this is a great hotel with very few drawbacks. It's on my shortlist of places to stay now.
