This hotel i was told is very close to the nightlife,
no charge for extra guest.
Can anyone tell me anything about this hotel?
The price is ok but i want a hotel close to nightlife.

If this is the Royal Asia Lodge, Soi 8 Sukhumvit, I do not recommend it, it is owned and run by Thai-Indians and friends of mine have been ripped off in the City Lodge owned by same family, their room burglarized for $7000 worth of property (notebook computers, silver bought at Chatuchak etc.) by what was obviously an inside-connected, probably Indian, theft ring.
The place is quite tatty anyway.

The Royal Asia Paradise is indeed just a name change of the Royal Asia Lodge, 91 Soi 8. If you do a google search on each name you will get same address. This hotel IS Indian owned and the owners own SAME hotel (City Lodge, Soi 19) where my friends got ripped off for $7000 US.
When my friend called down to the desk to report the burglary they TURNED OFF HIS PHONE. No forcible entry, meaning they used a PASS KEY (picking the lock would have left marks, there were none.)
I would not recommend ANY hotel owned by this bunch of crooked Indians, that is both City Lodges, the Amari Boulevard (managed by Amari Group), and the Royal Asia Paradise/Lodge/whatever. I will exempt the Sheraton Grand as the Sheraton management apparently take security more seriously, and it is definitely out of the budget class.
Think about it, your room has been burglarized and the hotel response is to turn off your room phone.
My friend had a call phone, called me, and I called the police. But, the Metropolitan police handled it (fix was in from the hotel) and they made a big show of photographing everything EXCEPT the luggage that was broken into, they did not take fingerprints from the luggage, but again, played a farce of taking prints from the glass doors to the balcony (which were locked from the inside, and undamaged). What a JOKE.
And I HAVE been inside the Royal Asia, and it ain't no Paradise. It is a s,elly, musty currified Indian pit. Sort of like a microcosm of the (non Indian but otherwise same) Ambassador.
If you want to be close to Nana, try the Nana Hotel, or Dynasty Inn, or the Crown Hotel, or the Grand Inn (Soi 3) -- or the Rajah if you are desperate.

Just got back after two weeks of staying at the Royal Asia. Very nice hotel (actually a serviced apartment), clean, very queit, friendly staff and absolutely no problem with bringing guest in. Large rooms, nice view and no problems with any theft from the staff. It is located approximately 500 meters down soi 8 but they provide a free tuk tuk in both directions(there is a call box where the tuktuk drops you off). There are cheaper places to stay ( i paid 1600 baht for a king suite with balcony) but value wise I think it is worth it.
Just my opinion.
