OK now what was that hotel I stayed at...
ok well I think the first one was the miami and what a dump that was..so I went to this foreigner travel agent and he told me to get the hell out of that place..he was right..even though it cost like 15bucks,,it looked like it..
but then I went to this other place...
ok this is what I remember...
there was a korean restaurant a few doors in front of the hotel on a corner, ( not bad food either)
if you look down the soi the hotel was at the end...
there were tailor stores , ummmm damnnn cant remember , just there was a korean restuarant...
very close to nep...about 5 -10 minutes walk I guess...
ummmm ohhh inside the hotel lobby there were many shops and a few restaurants, I remember it was a misson to find a card phone in there....
it was a big hotel....
anyway basically next to a Korean restaurant..ahahhahaha
does anyone know it...

I think maybe the Swiss Hotel, in the soi 11 sub-soi, plenty og reasonable/cheap hotels around the area, also the smaller ones dont qery/charge you for bringing girls back, Honey on soi 19 popular, and not very well known, but promenade, down soi 8 also OK, both around 800 bt. If you are booking in at something up market, e.g. Landmark/Amari/Ambassador, - say your wife is comming to join you, you may get charged an extra 100bt for a double, - but then no hassles with girls, and you can change your "wife" daily if you want!

I think you need to do a bit more detecting.My experience which might be slightly more than yours on the going in and out of hotels is that The Armari has been known to charge 600-800 baht for the "wife".
The Landmark my clients have never been charged ,but they do know me there , Ambassador again my clients have never been charged .

I agree with you. I have been charged at the Amari Atruim for a female guest to visit my room after 10pm. I was pissed because she was a friend and we were goin to watch the NFL playoffs. They charged me 800 baht. just for her to go upstairs, as well as hassling her before letting us go to the room. They suck!!
I have never had any hassles or charges at the Landmark hotel. That hotel "rocks"!!

Hi Gaow
I'm sure hotel info. is very useful for us all. Can you tell us if you went to the Landmark and Ambassador hotels to meet your clients. Problems for guys seem to be when they take a girl into the hotel. If you had entered alone it could be a different situation.
Please don't think I am asking personal questions but we have conflicting reports about Ambassodor hotel. It's location is good, but not if there are " guest " problems

Ok Guys here's my view.
I have visited all that you have listed (and more)Tower Inn ,Grand President , Landmark , Ambassador. My clients have NEVER been charged .Here's why I think ,please do not think I am being self centred.
I always dress when entering a hotel like I am going for Dinner ,I do not wear jeans ect , I peresent my self (not all the time) to reception and say I have a business meeting or I am visiting a dear friend ect.The trick is to blend in like a hotel guest , the hotel know why I am there but I appear not out of place with other guests ,remember not all people agree with using my kind of service and the hotel is trying to protect its reputation.I generally have a large bag with me , it would appear like I am checking in ,but the bag is actually full of working tools!!!!! .
Two weeks ago I arrived at the Evergreen Laurel Hotel ,That guys is a bitch to get in , however with my knowledge of this hotel I arrived ,reported to reception and was escorted to the room by the bell boy being given every curtiousy along the way , the bell boy even carried my bag of tricks for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I always have the room number of the guest ,and his full check in name , it catches them off guard when you walk up and say I have an appointment with my Joe Smith in room 1234 could you please tell him I am here , they call the room then say please go up!!!!
So a little planning , a little charm ,a big smile and a lot of check is my formula.
