Hi every1,
I have reserved a twin room in Manhattan BKK, Noda Lodge Pattaya and Patong Resort Phuket. Can ne 1 tell me the scope of taking a girl in? I have charged my CC now and i have no choice, but i hope some1 will tell me what they think? Are these ne good hotels? I found them through a tour company and decided after one month of planning to charge my card. I leave for Tokyo on 18.10.2002 and further leave for Thailand on 30.10.2002. Will be in thse hotels frmo 30/10/2002 till 8/11/2002. Pls reply to me with some good or bad answers. I can't change the hotels now, but would like to hear from some1. thanx a bundle.

Provided you have booked and paid for double room at Manhattan hotel, you will not have any problems in taking in a girl. She may be asked to show her ID at the desk, but probably not.
I don't know about the other hotels

thanx a lot dave for ur prompt reply to me. well luckily i read about booknig a twin room in this forum and i have done so. for all the 3 hotels i will be staying in, i have booked a twin room. in case no1 checks me taking her on. is it safe? i hope i don;t get robbed or something. i will be carrying cash and my credit cards. how to go abotu this?

Manhattan has room safe's. but just be sensible and don't leave anything lying around, camera etc.
If you are new to the scene you might be wiser taking a girl from a known bar or gogo where the girls wear a number so are traceable.

its my 1st. visit to thailand. i intedn to have the best of time, in the best of budget. i feel i got a pretty good deal on the prices of the hotels. i shall make sure my belongings are locked in my suitcase and cash and credit cards locked in the safe. is the safe in the room or at the reception. ur replies are extremely valuable to me. i thank you very much and will learn alot from you. i love this site and i have been reading these forums for over a month now. i find the messages very useful and informative. whoever is the owner, i salute to him/hr. hats of to the owner of this forum. thanx

Hi Bloooz, You should have no problems because you have booked a double, but you may have some hassels at patong resort. All your hotels are good. If you want any advice on hotels in the future let me know. Keep your valuables in the safe always and only carry enough money for the night when you go out. Generally you do not have many problems in Thailand but allways be cautious.

Dave i am happy to know ur form britain. i basically belong to Pakistan, but i have lived in England & Scotland for 14 years of my life. I am 34 years old. I will certainly look out for you. Maybe we could have a beer together and talk about UK. I have loads and loads of memories of UK. Its a GR8 place on earth i must say.
