I'm thinking about splitting my next LOS trip up with a few days on Sukhumvit and then getting a hotel for a few days around Patpong...
I did go down there for a few hours during my first trip, but really didn't get a feel for the whole area. I'd like to check out more clubs and sniff around in the "hole in the wall" massage places down there.
1. Does this make any sense, or should I keep my hotel on Suk?
2. I trust that there are plenty of little massage places down there like on Sukhumvit??
3. Anybody got suggestions for hotels down in that neck of the wood? Guest friendly, of course...

With the sky-train so handy, why bother? I realize it closes down at midnite but with cabs so easy to catch and only 50 or so bhat back to Suk

why move to Patppong where it is heavily infested and conjested with tourist?? BTW, theres not much day time action there!
well, if u really wanna, i'll strongly recommend the Tawana Ramada. its a very nice hotel with great staff and guest friendly. just 5 mins to Patpong!! enjoy.
