Last time in LOS I stayed at Majestic Suites. No probs, no hassles, easy come easy go kinda place but the rooms were a bit claustrophobic for my liking.
What about one of the bigger suites at the Grand President on Soi 11?
And what's the location like, keeping in mind the countless trips to it I'll be making in the wee hours of the morning?

stayed at the GP for a week! had the Diamond Suite for B3600 without tax/service charge! 75 sqm, two bedrooms,large fridge, CD player, 3 TVs. wat more can u ask for??
location wise, never been a problem to me!!just as accessible to all nearby locations as the majestic suites.

I stayed at the GP my last trip in. Very guest friendly and yes,the rooms have an in room safe. At least the Royal Suites do.I like the facility and the location,which is a bit off of Sukhumvit so that there is little road noise.

I stayed there last January and found it very acceptable. I have not seen any recent posts concerning this hotel. Is there any new input?

Nothing's changed except that it's progressively deteriorating like most 3-star places in BKK. Telephone messages are also delivered to your room the next day. Almost forgot about the annoying taxi driver a**holes hanging out in front bugging the sh*t out of all the guests.

I have always stayed at one or other of the "Presidents" (my preference is P Park but its a little further away from action in soi 22/24).
I have the Dynasty/Regal suite 80sm 2 rooms + bathroom and kitchenette, 2 TVs etc for 1850 inclusive for one month rack rate December 24 to Jan 24.
GP has higher prices for suites which I assume is due to the more central location as PPark is a FAR "better" place if you like 4 pools, gym, bars, restaurants all in situ.
PPark is at the bottom of 22/24 and is a 3 minute motorbike ride from Sukh and 5 from Nana. There is a free mini bus to Emporium which is 2 BTS stops from Nana.
If you can bear to be more than "walking distance" then it is an excellent option. I actually PREFER top be a little away as I think I get the best of both worlds. I am usually in town on business so need some space from the p2p joints at times.
Just tried to book in a friend and they are full over Xmas and New Year but worth considering in the future.
