Is the Grand one of the hotel's that will hold a girl's ID at the desk?
While I don't want to worry about things that should be terribly uncommon, the recent thread about girls with 2 ID's and underage scams - I'd rather know I have a legal age girl and know that the hotel is holding the ID to back me up on it!
Sorry if I should have been able to find this info, but my searching didn't uncover it.
When i stayed in Tower 3 (topaz suite) they did hold the ID. But when i stayed in tower 1 they didn't. (that was only one night though so maybe i just missed the guard??)
My experience at the GP was that there really was not much interest in collecting ID's. I stayed in the main towers in Royal Suites and don't know if this was attributable to the fact that I always made sure to talk and joke with the security and desk staff.Whenever I would walk in with the evening's companion I would be greeted with a smile and or salute with no attention given to my companion.
