I and my friends will be going to the bangkok on the March, and this is our first trip there. we had book the Bangkok palace hotel throught the travel agency. I had a few questionis hope that u guys out there can help me .. thank
1)Is this hotel - girl friendly hotel?
2)Is is near to Sukhumvit area,(walking distance or by cab?) which most bar and disco located there?
3) can any one recommend other hotel if bangkok palace if not the girl friendly hotel.

It is said that this hotel isnīt very guestfriendly however they have a massage parlour in the basement which stay open late. It is not within walking distance from Sukhumvit rd but a taxi ride will not take more than 5 minutes (not peak hours)and cost not more than 50 baht.

Sounds like you are already booked with Bangkok Palace Hotel. Is this so? If not I suggest you try to change to Guest friendly hotel.
myself I don't know if this hotel is friendly or not. maybe more replys will come. As GG says it is not far from Sukhumvit but you don't want guest problems

Daze,
I would avoid the Bangkok Palace hotel. I have stayed there and it was just not worth it. I have been offerred a stay there at least twice more but I have always refused. The rooms are not all that clean and the service is lousy. Try something better.
