Im visiting bangkok in exactly one month and I need someone to tell me whether to book for Majestic Suites (Soi 4 -6) or Royal Parkview (soi 20) based upon their knowledge. I want good location for nightlife and easy access to travelling around central bangkok. Royal Benja was also on my list but I have heard of no reports for this hotel nor the Royall Parkview. Majestic seems to be popular but is this only because of its girl friendly policy ?

I've stayed at the Majestic Suites a few times and I'm staying again. Rooms are clean, excellent ac, in room safe, girl friendly good breakfast, great location. Bob the manager and the staff are into customer service and it's cheap. IMHO there's no down side to the MS. Book early as this hotel is very popular.

if I book single room, can I take one (or two) guest(s) without JF in MS? Single room OK for hobby, or need to book double? Or is only difference number of breakfasts?

Only difference is the # of breakfast.

I stayed at the Royal Parkview, good quality rooms, very spacious bathrooms (baths & showers) but just a wee bit too far away from Nana & Soi 7 for me.
Its on par with the Ammari or Zenith Hotel for quality 3-4 Star.

Actually got a good price through the internet about 8 months ago, but not many sights have this hotel. I think about 1300Baht per night no ABF.

No hassels with guest fees, but then I signed in with my TG.

BKK FEVER
I will arrive in BKK on Saturday and plan to check in  Royal Parkview Hotel. How long will it take by walking to the nearest BTS station?
Is there big bath tub in bathroom?
       Thanks for any brother's reply!!

Less than 5 mins walk from the one connecting to the Emporium Shopping Center.

Yes big enough for three.

Thank you!!  craigoz
I would like to have a soapy massage cruise, the major MPs are located on Ratchadapisek Road and New Petchburi Road. I haven't stayed any hotel on Sukhumvit yet, will it be very traffic to these MP districts?

Or Emerald Hotel could be the better option?

BKK FEVER
Just back from BKK five hours ago, the first two days I stayed at Royal Parkview Hotel, the room is spacious, renovated bath room, and buth tub is quite big!!  Room safe box but no cable TV. Girls friendly.
Only 1200 Baht with ABF and two bottles of mineral water, at this price I really feel satisfied . Thanks for your suggestion, Craigoz!

Good, I managed to fit a couple of ladies into the tub.
Also  for 1200 Baht, not bad room value. There are plenty wor that cost more.

Glad to hear its still Guest Friendly

Some small Beer Bars in Soi 20 I think, just curious if  you got a chance to check them out or did you go straight accros to Soi 33 and or Soi Cowboy.
