I've searched and could not find an answer to this question. Is the Westin Grande Hotel in Bangkok girl friendly?
I already have reservation for this hotel during my visit to Bangkok so going to a girl friendly hotel is out of the question.

I TG I know in BKK recommends it highly for my next trto BKK. So I suppose it would be reasonably girl friendly to say the least, as she feels comfortable about staying there.
Further their sister hotel Sheraton Grande Sukumvit is ceratinly Girl Friendly

I just spent 9 nights at the Westin Grande Sukhumvit and can say it was 100% AOK in bringing companions back.

Was there a pool, gym, et cetera. How was the service? Was it centrally located?
How much did you pay a night for the room.

Also, do they want you to check the girl in/register at the night desk or does she just walk in. AS said many times on this Forum, registry is a safety for the Farang

I stayed there too lately - had a very nice renovated room, my regular TG liked it a lot too. I paid about $40 a night which is a total bargain. Hotel did not check IDs and I had no problems.

You are right-$40 is a TOTAL bargain. Can I ask how you managed? I see from an online booking site (asiavoyage24.com) the price quoted is $72! We've decided to stay at the Nana (I've been told everyone has to stay there at least once) but we'll probably stay at the Conrad on our next trip. But after seeing your quote, I may just change my mind...

I have stayed at the Sheraton Royal Orchid, the Sheraton Grande Sukimvit and the Westin Grande. All three are very accomodating when it comes to girls. And at the prices they charge, they should be.

The Westin is participating in Priceline (as is JW Marriott and SGS). There is a £10 bonus per night if you book on the Priceline UK site (go to http://www.cleverbidding.co.uk and click on the funny hotel image at the top - should take you to £10 bonus booking). £26+that 10 bonus is the lowest reported bid on that site (comes to EUR 36/USD 42+taxes). I got it for £27 before and with taxes it ended up being USD 48 or so.
Priceline UK will accept at least Amex and MC with non UK address, might have a problem with Visa.
