Looking at checking out Soi 33 for a couple of nights!
how is the hotel and how is Soi 33?
Seems like enough booze and food places...

Soi 33 hostess bars are great, but bring lots of cash. This is one soi where talk is NOT cheap. There were very few customers during my recent stay, so you're likely to have the pick of any bar you want. Very few girls got BF'd while I was there, but you might be able to get them without a BF if they're still unclaimed at closing time. Never pulled it off myself, just what I heard. One girl I BF'd from Soi 33 turned out to be a real party-pooper, but that's just the way it goes sometimes.
Tai-Pan isn't too terribly far from Soi 33, and only around $20 per night. Just don't expect any 4-star treatment and be prepared to argue over joiner fees.

Stayed at NL for a few nights. Very nice 3-star. Staff is friendly and helpful. Didn't really partake of the nightlife on that soi but it looked good from one or two walk-bys.
