Nana is my choice. Although I'm upgrading to JW Marriott in November, I've stayed at Nana several times in the past few years and highly recommend it. Rooms are nothing to brag about, but the breakfast is good and the location is most desireable.

I would go with the Nana too.i have stayed there many times over the years and find it is a great location and very decent place to stay.I stayed once at Dynasty Inn and found it rather dingy but that was all of 11 years ago so things may have changed.

If you are on a budget, then stay at Nana. If you want a first class hotel then I would recommend the JW Marriott.

Hey ps02, I stayed at Nana back in May and I won't be back there again when I return to LOS next weekend. The staff was very rude, they only gave me one complimentary breakfast ticket when I checked in, the carpet in the room was stained, the blanket on the bed was worn out in some spots, and I kept having to say excuse me everytime I went into the bathroom because I kept walking in on the roaches while they were occupied. I'll be staying this time at the Raumchitt Plaza hotel on Sukhumvit between soi13 and 15. Rooms look a whole lot nicer, hopefully breakfast will be included every day instead of just once, it's right there at Clinton Plaza and right above Thermae and it's 100 baht cheaper then Nana. Peace

I've stayed at the Ruamchitt Plaza Hotel each and every time I've been in Bangkok, but not really. Let me explain... I always stay at a nice, comfortable, upscale hotel whenever I'm in Bangkok, and some of the places I've stayed may not be within walking distance of Sukhumvit, where a lot of the action is. So, I also get a room at Ruamchitt because it's cheap - 900 baht a night (although they just raised it to 1000 baht). Because of its strategic and convenient location (located between Soi Cowboy and Nana), it makes a convenient "base of operations" for me to take the girls to. It's clean, and the staff is very, very friendly. The security guard/porter is someone that I've come to know very, very well. His name is pronounced, "Yeom" and I'll either tip him and/or buy him a drink from the bar. The staff there don't even bat an eyelid when I bring in one or more girls, and since I use this place mainly as a ST/LT room, I don't keep any valuables there and I never have to worry about getting ripped off.
