I'm just wondering the hotel goes by both name or is it different hotel? Thanks for any inputs guys and or gals!

Jake,
They are very different hotels. Siam Hotel is located on Petchburi road and is well known to be a place for the thais to pick up ST girls.
Siam Beverly is located on Ratchadaphisek road, i think opposite Robinson department store if i remember correctly or somewhere there. But i have never been inside or heard about quality, services, etc ...

Yes they are 2 different hotels. ÝI have stayed in Siam Beverly 2 times. ÝIt is not a great hotel. ÝIn fact I probably will not go back to that hotel. ÝThe only reason I chose it is because my BKK arrival flight is late and checking into a Ratchada hotel may still give me time to visit the MP before they are closed. Ý
My unpleasant experience with this hotel includes:
(1) The phone in the room never works until you tell the front fesk you need to make a call from the room then they will do some activation. ÝIt seems that they think every guest Ýis a crook and everyone will run away from the phone bill.
(2) The second time I stayed there. ÝThey charged me for some minibar consumption. ÝBut I was 200% sure that I did not take even a single piece of peanut from them (in fact I bought drink and food from 7-11 almost every night and when I checked out Ýthe room had more food and drink than my check-in). ÝAnd I had not brought in any guest during my stay. ÝTherefore I politely but firmly refuse to accept the charge. ÝThe fromt desk manager's attitude was as long as I can convince the floor head-cleaner that I did not consume any minibar items, she would not mind to revise the bill. ÝSO at the end I had to go back to 7th floor, talked to the guy who did the "checkout count" Ýand told him bluntly that he made a mistake. ÝI do not know if he understood my message, he just kept nodding his head and took it as an agreement. Ý ÝAthough I was not charged for any minibar items at the end, it was frustrating enough. Ý
(3) ÝThe front desk staff are the most aparthetic team I have ever seen in the hotel industry. ÝBut they are not rude. Ý
So much for Siam Beverly.
BTW, may I know at what time I will be able to find freelance talent in SIam Hotel? Ý And where are the browsing area, the car park or the coffee shop? Ý

Thanks guys, I was thinking about booking a room at Siam Beverly for few days because of the girls in the place. How long ago was your stay?
Thinking about a place to stay that is close to the MPs (Poseidon being on top of the list).
Oh well, back to doing my homework again, thanks again for the inputs!

It was about 18 months ago the first time I stayed in Siam Beverly. I went there the second time about 2 months (Mar 03) ago. Not much change in staff and price but the rooms were visibly re-touched.
There are some more hotels on the Ratchada strip. You do not have to stay in Siam Beverly to be close to the MP. Although Siam Beverly is relativley cheaper, I heard the others are not much more expensive.

The activities in Siam Hotel are mainly inside the coffee shop and around the pool.
However, at night, especially after 2 am, as much activity inside and outise ( in the car park and on the pavement ). You'll notice that there are so much f_cking cars by that time.
But it's mainly Thai (95%) and poor english speaking.
All kind of girls can be found there, lb too.

But I still need a liitle elaboration. "Around the pool" by that you mean the swimming pool or the pool table?
So if I arrive there at around midnight, I should walk right into the coffe shop order something and select leisurely? Are the lights in the coffe shop bright enough to see clear?
Is 2000 for LT and 1000 for ST reasonable in this season?
95% Thai is OK. In fact that is why I am there. But I am curious what are the other 5%.

HI,
By pool, i mean swimming pool. The coffee shop is actually divided into 2 parts where you will find lots of girls and thai guys chatting around. And there is a swimming pool at the end of the 2nd coffee shop room and you can walk around it too.
Around midnight, you will find girls in the parking lot and on the street around the food shops.
The price mentionned seem to be correct but it will depend on the girl. Just negotiate with her.
Just to say that they won't to the first step if you are farang (i guess because their english is poorƒ. But if you walk to them and speak thai with her, she'll be happy to chat and go with you).
I have said 95%, maybe it's 99%. Everytime i've been there, i was the only farang.
So, don't be surprise that everybody looking at you.
