I'm staying at The Landmark Bangkok. Any experience with this hotel as far as guests. When I made the reservation I added a female friends name to my reservation so I'm not sure if that will help with the guest issue. Is the Landmark within walking distance of some bars/MP's? Any other pointers greatly appreciated.

Good choice as far as location, guest friendly good places to eat, ATM etc. Check out the beergarden on Soi 7. More good looking freelancers there then I know what to do with Bamboo Bar is right around the corner. Your right in the middle of the action.

the Landmark is right in the heart of Sukhumvit, its 5 mins to the Nana Entertainment Plaza (NEP), BTS, 10 mins to Eden, Soi 7 beer garden, New Wave Pool Bar, Foodland, laundry shops, internet cafes, resturants, 15 mins to Sukhumvit Square, 20 mins to Soi Cowboy, 25 mins to Minstry of Sound (MOS), Darlings Massage, Emperioum......want me to go on??
look around this site and check out the maps/location!! u wont be too far away from all the action. do not make too many plans as where to hit, u'll probably forget about your iternary once u reach BKK...

agreed - good hotel and great location, - while NEP bars and nana disco only 500 yards walk to the left as you come out of the hotel, I would probably start the night/afternoon, as BigD suggests, walk 100 yards to the right, take the overhead footbridge across Sukhumvit rd, which will bring you out near soi 7, and wander down there 100 yards to the " Beer Garden" - just a point, over the next few days, say 29th-1st, many TGs have headed upcountry to be with the families for New Year, - so still plenty of girls around, but expect the numbers/talent available, to greatly increase early into the New Year, when they return and are desperate for an Earn !!

Just had one night in the Landmark,
Serious hotel, I would highly recommend.
Got a free upgrade to the executive room(s) on the 24th floor.
Great hotel in a great location!

I stayed at Landmark last august. Great hotel, girl friendly and is middle of everything you ask for in bkk like brothers mentioned.. Food/pussy/drinks/shopping/massages......

Yep, its in a great location. I know i cursed under my breath every time i walked by " i wish i was staying here, this is a great location!" Very close to Nana, but not right in your face. Close to the skytrain station, close to beer gardens, close to everything, and a really nice looking place.
Haven't stayed there, but i think this advice should hold true pretty much anywhere... be friendly to the people and they will be friendly to you...

My credit card was counterfeited there (only place in BKK I used it). And they had horrible construction going on and made me change rooms two times out of 4 nights.
Great location, decent price. Rooms a little small.
